Course for Staff and Parents
At Mindful Kids Cornwall, we strongly believe that in order for young people to feel able to learn mindfulness techniques and invest in their being-well, it aids them greatly if the adults around them have an understanding of mindfulness and, where possible, a mindfulness practice themselves.
It is with great pleasure that we are able to offer both school staff and parents the highly effective and evidence-based secular mindfulness course ‘Finding Peace in a Frantic World’. With her understanding and insight into teaching and school systems, Laura is able to bring a unique combination of knowledge and skills to help improve and sustain the wellbeing of the adults in your learning community. Laura has been trained at the University of Exeter, one of three Universities at the forefront of mindfulness research in the UK, and is a registered Mindfulness Teacher. Laura has worked in numerous school settings as a teacher and an Educational Psychologist and feels mindfulness can be hugely enriching and complementary to the already fantastic work schools and teachers are doing with young people.

Laura is happy to offer a bespoke course that fits in with your school’s time and budget, whilst not compromising on the quality of the course and ensuring the key elements of the evidence-based curriculum are delivered. All you need provide is a room and some participants!
